We provide high-quality supported housing across the East of England, governed to institutional standards from day one — because the people who need this kind of housing deserve better than a bed and a box-ticked support contract.
“We built it before we launched it.”
Two properties, twelve rooms, refurbished to a high standard — acquired and funded with our own capital, before we approached a single local authority.
Built to meet, and exceed, the National Supported Housing Standards ahead of them becoming mandatory. Generous rooms, regular cleaning of communal areas, and rapid-response repairs aligned to Awaab's Law.
Most of the reform now sweeping this sector — the Supported Housing Act, local authority gateway schemes, tighter Exempt Accommodation scrutiny — exists because too many providers treated support as an afterthought to the Housing Benefit claim. We built board oversight, independent audit, a resident voice route, and a published Modern Slavery Statement before we needed to, not after a council asked us to.
Read our governance standard →Not about profit. New Place Homes is an asset-locked Community Interest Company. Surplus is reinvested in support quality and portfolio growth — it cannot be extracted as private profit.
People accessing housing-related support commonly present with three or more overlapping needs at once — which is exactly why we organise our support around the person, not the referral label that first brought them to us.

We're well below the threshold that would make this a legal requirement. We're publishing it anyway, because transparency shouldn't wait for a law to demand it.
Their reach: over 300 people supported last year. We're proud to be working alongside them rather than trying to build that expertise from scratch ourselves.
Two properties, twelve rooms, acquired and refurbished at our own risk and cost — before we approached a single local authority.
